Mission Statement
Saint Paul Methodist Youth Ministry wants your youth to Worship, Grow, and Serve.
The vision of Saint Paul Methodist Youth Ministry is to encourage youth to WORSHIP God with their lives all week long. GROW in their faith, GROW a community of believers with their peers, and SERVE their church, community, and others.
Message from Pastor Rick
The middle school youth at Saint Paul are on a Journey. At this time, we have 12 youth who are beginning to take their first solo steps in their lifelong journey as disciples of Jesus Christ—a more familiar term for this is “Confirmation.” During this time our youth will be learning the basics of the Christian faith so that they understand what it means to fully follow Christ with all their heart.
Something else that our confirmation students will be doing is living out the words of Acts 2:42: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” During this Confirmation journey that the youth are taking part in, they will be doing the same thing as the early church: sharing meals, becoming one group, and praying for each other. Here is the great news, you don’t have to be left out on this journey.
You may not be able to have a shared meal with them every Sunday night, but you can pray for them while they are on this journey. I invite you to pray for each of these students during their Journey and I encourage you to come to our Confirmation Sunday Worship Service on May 12th at 11am in the Sanctuary. Just like the earlier church in the Book of Acts encouraged each other, let us encourage our youth as well.

Saint Paul 2024 Confirmation: Who Do You Follow?
For the past two sessions, this year's confirmation students have been taking it all in while answering questions about God and their faith. "Who is God?" and "What did God Make?" are just a few questions they have been answering. Here are a few photos from our sessions.
Parents, please save the date for this year's Confirmation Sunday Service. This year service will be on May 12th. There will be a breakfast reception at 10:00 a.m. in the Narthex Parlor, followed by the Confirmation Sunday Service at 11:00 AM.

Before our Confirmation Class on April 14th all the youth will have a chance to be the hands and fee of Christ.
Rise AGAINST HUNGER is a great to help others across the globe. We will need help setting up and help packing meals. Let us know you can help out by using the sign up link below! ⬇️⬇️
Sunday Funday: Paint Ball!!
Sunday, April 21st 2:30p to 4:30p
On Sunday, April 21st we will meet at Kill Zone Paintball 736 Daw Pate Rd Goldsboro NC to have a Sunday Funday. This activity is for all youth aged students. Youth need to wear clothes that are okay to get dirty and messy. Please be aware we are still having our confirmation class. If your youth is participating in our confirmation class they can bring a change of clothes to change into at the church. The cost of this activity is $20.00 per student and your youth must be registered by Thursday April 18th. The first 4 parent volunteers that indicate they serve as chaperones and drives student back to the church will have their costs covered for paintball.
Graduation Sunday Service
Sunday, May 19th
On Sunday, May 19th Saint Paul Methodist Church will be honoring their high school graduates and celebrating all their accomplishments. From 10:00am to 10:45am there will be a breakfast reception for the graduates and their immediate family. Once again we wil Following the breakfast reception the graduates will be honored during the 11:00am Worship Service. Graduates will need to bring their cap and gown for the 11:00 am Worship Service.
In order to help Saint Paul prepare for this special service to honor your graduate please let us know your high school graduate will be participating by using the sign-up link below. More info can found be in the sign-up included detail on the Senior Spotlight table.
Saint Paul Youth Ministry needs your help! A fantastic first half of the year is planned, but we need some awesome volunteers. Please be on the lookout for the way's you can serve!

What can unforgiveness do? It can freeze your heart solid. When we let forgiveness become a part of who we are it can change our life. The forgiveness Jesus offers us and the forgiveness we offer others can set us free.
Cereal Madness January 28th
Cereal is great anytime of the day especially on Sunday Nights! After having our fill of cereal we were able to figure out how we can taste and see that the Lord is good!
Ultimate Pizza Party January 21st
It's was an epic ULTIMATE PIZZA PARTY! Afterwards we discovered what it means to be hungry for God.

Thanksgiving Meal Give and Friendsgiving
The youth@Saint Paul had an opportunity to serve others on Nov 19th. The youth along with their parents were able deliver meals to family of the Carver Heights School Community. Afterwards we had our Friendsgiving Feast and the DINNER OF DOOM!!

It was really awesome seeing our new 6th graders for the first time!

March 12th
The youth at Saint Paul served others by helping with the Awana Family Night Dinner. It's always great to have our youth serving!
National Cheese Doodle Day
March 5th
The youth will never look at a cheese ball the same way again. It got a little cheesy on March 5th. Afterward, we went over some future events and looked at how we want to serve others this summer.
Super Bowl Party
On Feb 12th Saint Paul Youth Ministry spent some time together watching the big game and few lucky youth came home with a prize. A special thanks goes out to all the parents who helped out by providing some yummy Super Bowl Snacks.
GMC District Youth Gathering
On Feb 5th, the Capital District held its first-ever Youth District Gathering at Saint Paul Methodist Church from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Close to one hundred youth and adults participated in the first event. Special thanks to the youth at Saint Paul for helping out and special guest speaker Sammy Hudson.
It was great to see youth from the Capitol District getting to know each other and worship together. I look forward to seeing how God will use this group from the Capitol District.
