St. Paul United Methodist Church welcomed the Rev. Thurman Horney in June of 2005. Thurman is pleased to be back in Goldsboro having worked in Goldsboro in 2000-2001.
Thurman is a single parent with his daughter, Elizabeth, joining him at St. Paul. His two adult sons, Matt and John live in Raleigh and Germany, respectively. For the last four years, Thurman has served under appointment as a student pastor in the Salem/Harris Chapel Charge while attending Duke Divinity School.
